Jasiah is one of three recipient of the 2016 GCAAC Trooper Clearance Jolivet Scholarship. He attends Pueblo Magnet High School and maintained a 3.0 GPA throughout his high school career. He will be graduating this May in the top twenty-five percent of his class.
Jasiah has dealt with the stress of sports and clubs while still being involved in community programs. His community outreach services include a youth football mentorship and quarterly breast cancer awareness walks. He also participated in raising school spirit with the high school Student Council.
Even with a full plate on his hands Jasiah has been able to connect with his teachers. Being at pueblo high school Jasiah has grown in his education and widened a number of friendships that he will have for a life time. By attending Pueblo Jasiah has had open ears and eyes to endless opportunities that allowed him to excel. Through his support of his teachers, coaches, friends and family Jasiah will be the second in his family to attend a college.
Jasiah, is an easy going person and is always up to try new things and meet new people. He is looking forward to see what his future brings. Because of his flexibility and great problem solving skills he will be able to face any obstacles he comes across.
Jasiah is excited about college and what comes along with it. He plans on majoring in either the health field for dental or Psychology and Counseling.
